Its stuff like this that pisses me off BEYOND MEASURE Everyone knows that New Orleans is dangerous in certain areas, but this is ridiculous even for the lower 9. The gang and drug violence is one thing, and while I wish it would lessen, I can stomach two pieces of **** killing each other more than an innocent man being gunned down for 20 ******* DOLLARRRRSS!!!!!! I AM BEYOND DONE. I wish every one of these teenage ****heads with nothing better to do than murder harmless people would drown in oil-spill Gulf water.

Incidents like this convey a message that no one is safe. Which in turn makes me want to buy guns, bats, chains, start a militia and go clean up these damn streets...since our apathetic PD and twisted judicial system can't seem to keep us safe

Stories like this completely diminish why I love living here.

...I'm keeping my family in Jefferson Parish. screw it

Isn't there a song that says the freaks come out at 9?

Where do you go at 9pm? Do you work here and live somewhere else?

It's obviously a well known fact that all of the crime in New Orleans takes place after 9pm.

You just have to ignore the 20 out of 45 murders that happened to take place during the daytime this year as well as the countless people who get robbed and burglarized while the sun is out.

I was thinking the same. Curious how 9pm was the cutoff.

Good.

This is how I feel about what he did: You do the crime, you do the time.

Man arrested in connection with killing of Domino's delivery driver | NOLA.com

May the family somehow now find peace. Ase'

...on second thought, somehow this doesn't seem like the guy who actually did it. It seems to me that this quite possibly is the fall guy. Notice the wording; "Man arrested in connection with killing"

If the guy arrested is not the guy that did it, then they police need to find the person who actually did it, and put that person under arrest.

Of course I'm speculating, but unfortunately this happens all too often. Police suspect a specific individual, but have no evidence. So they reach out to a known affiliate with multiple priors in attempt to get information on the suspect by leveraging probation violation or worse. The affiliate either complies, providing information to the police(which equals death within that culture) or take the charge.
