I really like it, I don't live in NYC, but I feel like the NYC culture seeps across the three rivers between Newark and Manhattan. A lot of people here commute into Manhattan. I moved to the neighborhood I'm in now thinking it would be easier to meet people and become part of a community, but it hasn't turned out that way. Not blaming the neighborhood entirely, but I do wonder if I would have an easier time in another place sometimes.
Any thoughts on the author's experiences in the New Orleans? I've long wanted to visit the city but I haven't yet.
