Default Belle Chasse
My family is about to make a military move to Belle Chasse and I was wondering what area should we look into or avoid moving to? I just dont want to live in a bad area or pay a crazy amoun to rent a house. I have never been to N.O. so I am not really sure what to expect. Thanks.

Adlvsrp4, I'm not familiar with the neighborhoods over there, but try here (NOLA.com: Plaquemines Parish Forum), the people on those boards will be familiar. Well that is unless someone else here is familiar with Belle Chasse?

There are several factors to consider when deciding where to live. We live here and are also military. I'm assuming you are working on NAS in Belle Chasse. Does your wife work or stay at home? Do you have kids? If yes, how old are they? How long will you be here? If you can answer these, I can give you more information on where to look.
