Default Sports Bar Question...

Some friends and I are making a trip to New Orleans in couple weeks to catch a Saints game. Some have tickets but 2 don't. They just want to go to a fun/decent sports bar that's semi close to the super dome and watch the game, drink beer, eat etc... not living there I have no idea where I can tell these two guys to go...

Does anyone have any suggestions/info about some sports bar that are kinda close to the superdome??

Thanks

I really don't do the sport's bar thing, well okay once or twice at the Fox and Hound, but that's not anywhere near the Dome. I did a quick search and found this (see below) one on Poydras but it's still a way off from the Dome.

Your friends may be more comfortable finding a place in the Quarter and then ya'll can meet up after the game. I like Yo Mama's, but Tropical Isle on Bourbon has a better set up for game viewing (both serve food). Good luck!

There's a place on Loyola that is always packed but I don't know the name. It's halfway between Poydras and Girod. Always tons of people partying outside and there's an inside area too = although I've never gone in.

If they want to go to the game it's usually pretty easy to pick up tickets on the street but DON'T buy them on Superdome property - it's illegal.
