Default Best furniture places in New Orleans

Ive been searching for some new furniture in NOLA and would like to hear about some of the options available?

How is World Market furniture? is it sturdy?

Hurwitz Mintz?

I like Compass, Hurwitz Mintz (can little stressful on the purse, but great stuff), and Comeaux's. I dearly miss Kirshman's and wish I had gotten that red sofa before they closed.

Aw geez now I've got that Rosenberg's tune in my head! Sadly Rosenberg's, "ain't dere no more," (thanks Benny Grunch).

Universal's still going, Universal Furniture. I used to be facinated by the Chairman who is now long gone, but you can see his pic in the background on this site http://www.bestofneworleans.com/disp.../news_feat.php

And as long as you are putting tunes in my head... Seafood City... Very Pretty...
