Grand Isle fishing (beach, island, limits)

does anyone know what's going on with the old fishing bridge in Grand Isle-I know the hurricanes wiped out parts of it, but has it been repaired yet or do they plan to repair it?-there's a fairly large group of us heading to Grand Isle for Memorial Day and were wondering about the bridge-also was wondering if Fourchon beach was still off limits (except by boat)...any info would be greatly appreciated-thanx!

was on the island last month-- going again in april-- cant go on old bridge-- not sure if they gonna repair same--- as for fourchon not sure-- but will ask brother when i call him and post 4 u -- suzanne
