Default moving to NOLA this summer, need teaching job

Hi,
my husband's job is taking us to New Orleans this summer. I am currently a Kindergarten teacher at a good public school in Northern Virginia, and would like to find a job teaching in New Orleans. Does anyone have any suggestions for good charter schools or other public schools? I am not sure where to begin my search. I have a Masters Degree in teaching. Thanks.

Consider surrounding schools systems as well like Jefferson Parish, Plaquemines Parish, St. Bernard Parish, St. Tammany Parish, etc. if you have issues finding something that fits in Orleans Parish. The schools are generally a little better in surrounding parishes than in Orleans although you might be able to find what you want in Orleans anyway.
