I just found a video online at CNN that was taken by two high school students who "followed" the spout: Video - Breaking News Videos from CNN.com

Um.. the next question is who's going to give two teens who were speeding down the streets a ticket for speeding like that?

Why does everyone have to put down something cool? They were chasing down a water spout. I would speed to get to it as well. I wouldn't want the government stealing money for a pretty ridiculous offense.

Maybe I missed it (watched twice) but where exactly did it show them speeding? The squealing tires? My tires squeal if I turn too sharp even at legal speeds...didn't when they were new but that's another story. Did you see posted speed limit signs? Also, the little bit of driving I saw in the vid (three seconds maybe? the rest was on foot) seemed typical of driving in that part of the country...
