Anyone familiar with El Tipico restaurant?
Wondering if anyone can give me a "review" of El Tipico....I think its in Westwego and might serve Dominican food? I've heard it mentioned in passing, but would like to know if its worth going.
Thanks

Where is it?
Pupusa's on Belle Chase Hwy is great for Central American food. I'd love to try Dominican.

Dominican food is fabulous; it would be great if this place 1) really is Dominican and 2)makes really good Dominican food.

So, my husband and I decided to go find El Tipico today and we were glad we did. It truly is Dominican, and so is the food. Not much to look at on the inside, but we had a great meal and hubby (who is Dominican) was happy to connect with some of his gente
