For what it's worth, I live in NY and am most likely moving to New Orleans in a few months.

Miami was never on my list of potential places to move. In fact, I had an offer a few years ago to move to Miami that included help finding a job and housing but turned it down.

I have several friends that live in New Orleans and would never consider living anywhere else. No, it is not a perfect place to live, but I have yet to find that place. Have you?

Nothern florida. Like boca, weston, and west palm. It's almost never cold here. In new orleans it used to get in the 30s. Summers in new orleans are very hot and dry. They have the biggest roach and mosquito problem. Florida has a ant problem. I never heard of people that are natives of New York. I met a lot of New Yorkers living here. I can say 90% of them go as far as Miami and back to new york. I'm sure you will agree. As for the mardi gras shooting that people were shot and killed, I will post it in a few. There was a shooting and no one was hit in a crowd of people? That doesn't even add up. Even if the gunman couldn't aim. New Orleans is a third world country.

Here is the link for the 2009 Mardi Gras Rampage. 7 people were shot when a gunmen sprayed bullets into the crowd even shooting a baby. Who was the one saying I was making this up but yet you live in New Orleans and doesn't know what goes on in your own backyard. New Orleans crazy to move to. The culture is not even there. Its in texas.

There is a big difference between 9 killed and 7 shot, even though both are bad, New Orleans is never dry and rarely in the 30's. Dude, you are hilarious. No credibility at all.

The original post is two years old. By this time, everything that can be said in response to the OP has apparently been said, because the discussion has become nothing more than trading insults back and forth.
