Default Staying in LaPlace

Will be working a few months in St. Charles Parish, and plan to stay in LaPlace. I heard it's about a twenty mile drive but is a good area to stay. Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.

Thanks

Have you considered Ponchatoula or Hammond (up the road on I-55) ? Laplace has several issues (1) It floods, (2) It's racially changing because of the cheap housing.

Also, if you're working in St. Charles Parish, Kenner north of I-10 has some decent apartments (and you'd be going against traffic). And St. Charles itself is a mixture of suburban and swamp.

Default laplace ok

There is a travel park on Airline Dr in Laplace which is fine. Traffic is high but there is really no getting around it. Where is St Charles Parish are you working, did you try Norco yet. Very low crime, closer than Laplace.
