Thanks for the mention, bluedog2, I appreciate it. And the staring at the Gothamist crack was good one, not accurate but hilarious nonetheless. It's true, I don't live in NYC now, but it was home to me when I was younger and because of that I still feel very attached to it and still want to know what's going on in the city I love. Nothing too hard to grasp.
On topic, I can say that while I think there is a slight increase of crime due to recession, I don't think NYC will ever go back to the 80's crime because that had to do with the crack game, unless there is a new drug that comes and takes over America, I don't see things getting that badly.
