I've read threads where people are searching for dance clubs that have been replaced by lounges. This is a similar type thread but for arcade/mini golf/ similar type entertainment.
I went to Coney Island today to go to the batting range/go carts/mini golf place on Stillwell that I had found online only to realize I was a few years too late. After figuring out that the batting range was no longer around I walked around Coney some and saw tons of closed shops around Eldorado bumper cars that looks like they used to be shooting ranges and other games.
I'm looking for some entartainment. I've already heard of buzz-a-rama and Maple Lanes as well as a ping-pong/pool hall near Bensonhurst. I've heard there is mini-golf and batting ranges on Randall Island off of Manhattan. I'm looking for entertainment that's not movies (I live down the street from Kent Theater on Coney Island Ave.), but something to DO.
Additionally, for the action part of the thead, if you know of anybody who used to runn a place similar to what I'm talking about please post stories or contact info because I would love to open up a place myself once I earn enough money.
I have not been there but there is a small park with rides in Brooklyn (1824 Shore Parkway)
they have mini golf.
The Aviator sports center on Flatbush Ave I think has mini golf too. Have not been inside but they have rock climbing and things like that.
