It's not fast-paced, it's hectic, frantic, frenzied, chaotic, frenetic, feverish ... and at that it's amazing how inefficient and slow everything in this city is, how much time, money and efforts even simple things require.
Well, in terms of NYC, there is a sizable Greek community in Astoria, Queens. But it makes no difference in NYC... literally every culture on the planet can be found there to one degree or another. I myself am Greek.
