Diamond district 47th/6th. There are many jewelry dealers there so you can get several offers on all kinds of jewelry. Also, consider Tourneau on 12 E 57th, an upscale watch store that has resale watch business.

You can also just stroll down West 47th in the diamond district and ask at various stalls. I have a great watch repair guy, Herman Strauss at 36 West 47th, who buys watches, but I don't know how his prices compare, although he's generally a fair person.

GET IT APPRAISED first. Those cash for gold places and jewelers offer significantly less than what it is really worth. In some cases they will offer around 40% of its actual worth. You will get ripped off big time by those cash for gold places and jewelers unless you get it appraised and are actually able to negotiate prices.
