I live in DC and the dating scene sucks! The Male/Female ratio is very 1:10 because all I see is women. Most of the men down here are married or in a relationship or juggling several women. There are very few single men between the ages of 18-30, I'm 19 there aren't many guys my age around here.

I just want to know if it's any better in NYC>

1. How pretty are you?

2. There are waaay more single women than men in NYC, too. Especially if you want an educated, employed, good-looking guy!

No...I don't think it will be that much better here in NYC than the DMV. What type of guys are you looking to date?

I don't want to be negative but-HELL NO the dating scene over here isn't better. Well, that's unless you have a lot of money and live in the hottest and hip spots of NYC. If you're just a regular Joe or Jane than it's not impossible but its not exactly that great for you I guess.

Well, I have a picture of me on my Citydata profile. I've been told that I'm very beautiful. I want a guy who is smart, educated, funny, and not a douche. I generally go for guys who are preppy but I like all men.

I can't imagine you'll have difficulty meeting guys if you are in college with them.
