I second the nomination of the candidate from Charlotte. But I won't be shocked if he goes elsewhere.
People forget that the Chicago Bulls, which had been a losing team at the time Michael Jordan was drafted, didn't suddenly turn into champions. They had to put a team around Jordan before that happened. James signing a contract with the Knicks is not like tossing a handful of pixie dust into the air and, poof, Titletown USA.
No matter where Lebron James choose to play next seaon,
he makes lots of fans hate him with his "attention lady act"
now. It's just not right for him to pull something like that on
the fans.
He was one of my favorite NBA player before this, now he is on
my "hate" list. But all is forgiven if he is a Knick after 9:00PM.
You should have added a "who cares" category. All this drama over some overpaid athlete -- a "one hour ESPN special" and all this other nonsense. WHO FREAKING CARES?????? Seriously, is he going to be passing any of the billions he'll make your way?
And now that he says he's going to Miami, perhaps the insanity will die down. At least here in New York.
Just for the record, I'd also like to state that I appear to be one of the few people who isn't so close to the man that I can call him by his first name.
