I currently live in Brooklyn and 2 weeks ago my landlord evicted 3/4th of the tenants. For some reason I havent been evicted yet but Ive heard rumors among the building that the LL is going to turn the building into
luxury condos or something. Is there anyway I could get it rent stabilized or anything like that? I lived in this building for 20 years and I dont want to leave.

I am curious as to how a landlord was able to evict 3/4 of the tenants without a peep from anyone? Was there money involved or has this been pending for a long time? How many units?

How many units are in the building?

Is your rent over 2k a month?

You've been living there for 20 years and are not rent stabilized? Have you been getting leases every year?

He gave the evicted tenants a while to get ready before they had to completely leave.
The reason he said was that the building was being renovated and sold.
The reason I am still here is because I have a rental agreement still in effect. I dont have the money to find a similar apartment in the same area so I will move to the Bronx for the near future.
BTW I would say there is 20-30 units.

So will I have to leave?
I am not familiar with the process because I personally do not pay the rent or handle this process.
I do not know the circumstances of the eviction of all the other tenants but I know from friends what their rental status is.
The tenants evicted were Month to Month tenants from what I understand.

Rent is $1850 a month.
20-30 units.
Lease for me is renewed every year.
Anyone who pays rent less then $1600 in my building is a month to month tenant. 3/4th of the building payed under $1600 and they were not allowed to stay any longer.

If you are not a rent stabilized tenant, the landlord has no obligation to renew your lease. That's really the answer to your question. Is it possible your apartment is rent stabilized? Check your lease carefully or call the number here http://http://www.housingnyc.com/html/resources/faq/rents.html#sure
