Food/drink questions (apartment, how much, price)

Hi all,

I'm visiting NYC for 4 days in Septmeber, staying in a (legal) apartment in Harlem. Whilst it's easy to budget for attractions and so forth, I'm finding it hard to calucate how much money I should set outside for food and drink in the apartment. We'll eat out once, but not being too bothered about dining we'll be eating in the other 2 nights and will also be having breakfast there every day. Can any suggest an adequete budget for groceries? And perhaps most importantly, the average price of a 6 pack of beer?
