Default Judge rules saggy pants OK in NYC

OK, but I hope they go out of style pronto.

Judge says people can legally wear saggy pants in New York City | 7online.com

It's a trend we've all seen like it or not, pants hanging so low, you can often see the person's underwear. Sagging pants have become a criminal offense in a growing number of communities, but a judge says not in New York.

People pay for those pants and should be able to wear it how they want to.

the real question is why would someone want to mimic prisoners ..the look came from the fact they took prisoners belts away..

heck id want to dress to mimic where the money is . mimic maybe an accountant, a lawyer , a used car dealer ,maybe even a doctor complete with stethoscope..(ladies honk for free exam ).... ha ha

Let em sag, why do people care so much. Stop gawking at their dairy airs.

Sometimes I let my pants/shorts sag a little, my shirt covers things though.

School evacuations are orderly not hundreds of students stampeding through the hallways. If the situation is not an evacuation but rather a school shooting or something you can always pull up your pants and get the hell out of there.

I hate 'em, but I support their right to wear 'em. Once again, freedom reigns.

In a real emergency, things could be very different and not orderly at all. I would want my child's pants up, and belt on so he can run without any encumbrances.

Then they can pull it up.
Simple. You just grab the back of your pants, lift it, and run! Only takes a few seconds and once a fire alarm goes off you still would have a decent amount of time to get out depending on the emergency. I remember kids use to commit arson in the bathroom, and once the alarm goes off the teacher got the kids in a single file line and directed us out. Then the fire department came and took care of it.
