Williamsburg is full of them, as I'm sure we all know. They are peaceful people and mean no harm, but the whole "trying" to be different bothers me. I like people that are just who they are, despite what it may/may not mean to someone else. If a whole group of people is trying to be different and have different tastes in all categories of pop culture than is mainstream, isn't that essentially - a group of people that AREN'T different? I myself am not a huge fan of mainstream, but I do not dismiss all of it. Hipsters worry too much about image....that about sums it up, for me anyway!

As A Group they Are Different From Society. But Not Necessarily Different From Each Other. The True Hipsters Don't TRY to Be Different they Just Are You're Always Gonna Have Posers.
