One of my best friends, and his wife, live in lower Manhattan. He makes in a month what I make in a year (they are both attorneys), lol!! Nicest, most humble people in the world.

It is noteworthy that in NYC, a city that gives extraordinary access to a breadth and depth of both cultures and education, we most often form opinions of other groups or cultures not through personal experience or an examination of the facts. For many, "I heard that . . ." or "Someone said . . ." is sufficient foundation for their belief system. Please rise above that. "I heard that" or "Someone said" was the tool used by the Nazi's to foment hatred for the Jews. An entire nation developed a warped belief system based on malicious gossip. With a little effort we can do far better than that and should for our own protection.
