Holliswood. Beautiful, impeccable homes, quiet neighborhood with minimal traffic. Its "no sidewalk" policy gives it a "country" feel. You wouldn't even know that it's sandwiched between Hillside Avenue and the Grand Central Parkway. Just a hidden gem. I used to live in the co-ops there and would have loved to have owned a house.

Forest Hills Gardens. Beautiful English Tudor homes. Private streets.

Jackson Heights.
Beautiful English Tudor homes and garden apartments.

Jamaica Estates. Lots of faux-Tudor homes, lush tree-lined avenues

Not to change the OP's topic, but who has the best parking? I would hate coming home and not having a spot!!

I live on the borderline of Middle Village/Maspeth and I love it. Parking is almost too good to be true. No alternate side of the street parking what so ever. I can come home at anytime in the middle of the night and find a spot right in front of my place. Area might not be as glamorous as Forest Hills but I wouldnt give up the convenience for anything.
