i like talay which is at 135th+12th...there is an unlimited amount of hot hispanic women in there everytime...only problem is its 30 to get in and ridiculously priced drinks so i rarely go.

I have given up on Latin clubs in NYC as there are only 2 versions: The older crowd as in 45++ who are the old school and still wearing the same suits since 1982, and the women, well..4 kids later and 2 divorces....let's just say they have seen better days. Then there are the younger clubs (under 30), and they are at best borderline ghetto crap with the reaggeton the primary draw, and the crowd to match. I will say some of the girls are hot, but they come with too much baggage/drama/kids/etc...I have much more fun in Florida (Orlando and sometimes Miami depending on my mood) for a healthier mix, better crowds, and overall better time.

Latin spot that has none of problems mentioned above is Gonzalez Y Gonzalez at 625 Broadway. My friends like going there for great Tex-Mex cuisine, nice variety of drinks, salsa/merengue dancing, and decent women who frequent commercial Broadway-Lafayette area near NYU. More upwardly mobile females can be found.. and therefore, LESS chickenheads looking for a "papi chulo"/sugar daddy to feed their 3 kids left at home.

Gonzalez y Gonzalez is good. I've also heard good things about Son Cubano, but have never been there. There's also LQ (Latin Quarters).

I wouldn't call Gonzalez y Gonzalez upscale by any means.

The door guy there is a real prick too. He took my friends ID away and made her beg to get it back. It was her actual NY State ID and she is 24 years old!

check out latin quarter. I wonder did Copacabana find a new spot yet after it closed down because the club turned into a subway entrance?

I always had a good time at Iguana on W.54th, it's not upscale, but it's always a cool crowd, and they have the best margarita''s and mojitos
