Baeza got a real raw deal with Spitzer. Baeza is still tied up in court last I heard flighting those absurd charges. Everybody knows Spitzer used this case to soil NYRA's name and get his boys the slots deal. You must be a Dr. Fager fan, I'm too young to remember him but the old-timers who mentored me in the game tell me his was the greatest ever.
I think Samyns wife is out of the restaurant biz, but I could be wrong.
Back to the main topic, Belmont and for that matter Saratoga are two great venues that all New Yorkers should enjoy but few do.
