That school is now a combination school called YECA. Don't know how long they've been doing this but it must've made a serious turn around because when I went there to observe the different teachers it was a great school... And it's considered one of the top schools in that area.

I'm assuming that because I was so close to South Jamaica that's why the area looked bad, but if I was to go further down it would change.

Yea seventh floor already told me that the area I was talking about wasn't Cambria Heights like they had told me but South Jamaica instead... I wasn't too familiar with that area around there so I just took the schools word for it.

@ South jamaica dude... I only worked there for 3 months and I dealt mainly with the math department, I worked with Ms. Gordon. Don't know if you knew her or had her but she was a great teacher. Learned a lot of things observing her in my time there.

Tell me about it. I guess the West Brighton Houses should be called "the 18s" (P.S.18) and the Stapleton Houses should be called "the 14s" (P.S.14) or "the 49s" (I.S.49).

The roughest part of NYC would be the lions' den in the bronx zoo.
