You do not need to be treated like that- I would've left with a bang like what omigawd was telling you what to do - you should call or go in and then start calling in "sick" let diabla fire you so you can collect in the meantime
I really can't have very much sympathy. At my last internship I would of love if someone talked like that to me. I had to eat my lunch standing up most of the time. And I wasn't even getting paid.
Like I said. If you don't like it, quit.
