yes i went this week .and the only problem that i had was my credit.since then im looking for resources to help me get and apartment without credit. i know for sure that this is going to be very difficult for me. i know that if you are making the income that they ask you for and have a good credit history they might accept you.and all cases you must bring to the interview all documentation on date.

Wow mom2be! You were called already? Where exactly is the apartment facing? And how was the setup? I was told that I had to wait until the last building was completed, because they're were no more one bedrooms available. In any case, I would call them up Mom2Be, and ask them when exactly they need the money, or at least, an estimate of when they want you to have it. Congratulations though! Maybe you will be in before the new bundle of joy comes!!! Also, my advice, if there was a particular apartment you saw and wanted, do everything possible to get the money together. The sooner, the better. Snatch it up ASAP! I'm so happy for you!

Hotblue, your right. Credit history is very important especially when apartment hunting. The most you can do, I BELIEVE, is pay a higher security deposit or rent? Not even sure if I'm saying that correctly. You can probably find something by just renting from homeowners who decide to rent out their basement or top floor of they're family home. In the meantime, make sure you don't default on anything dealing with your credit. (ie, bill payments, loan payments, credit cards, etc.) Everything financial has an effect on your report. Print out your report and see for yourself what it is that you've f-Ed up on and correct it if possible. If the problem is too little credit history, start out with a low limit card and be very diligent with it. I hope everything works out though. Good luck!!

the knickerbocker mgnt company that handels the applications for them-brucknerbythebridge..they dont know what they're doing?..they lack the basic communication skills to match anything!..look..if you work..has adequate income..no felonies or arrest record..have decent credit..why turn such a canidate-away?..im not coming from no-shelter. The thing is im not only speaking of myself!..I presented them with all/everything i ever had in life!..I was working at current job like 14yrs!..and renting from current apartment like 12yrs!..they crazzyy!!..the place is right between 2 projects! mitchell and millbrook, come on..the unemployment rate in that district is enormous!..im not up to the drugs and crime stats-yet!..there are alot of undercover shelters in that area-too!.
reality-we just got hit by a major recession..shhh..we're still in recession..so even if you're still making,or commanderring income $28,000.00-$34,000.00 you're lucky!..like myself..and im part-time!..and as soon as i reach full time, which is very soon!..my pay will be double as what i stated above..and belive me..i won't be needing brucknerbythebridge-then..i'll pick a better neighborhood!.these developers put up these buildings-thinking its the next best thing to trump-plaza..or towers!..and wanna play hard ball to wheel in good quality tenants!..i dont blame them, but belive me..in 5-6yrs..proberly will look like tracy towers,or river park towers within that time-frame,because they still gotta take people from the shelters!..
I drove by the place, and its still empty! why??..mostly all who applied are from the bronx..or manhattan..but the building was done almost a year ago!..hey!..a empty apartment aint/can't gererate no money!!..I appealed them, plus wrote a letter to the bronx bourough president ruben diaz..they are so biased..and on bull$&!t!..they declined my friend on account of old cellphone bill on his credit!..thats it!..they are that-petty!..
The people deserve a right..and in this district..you got welfare-S.S.I-drugs-gangs-everything you can name..mott haven!..check it out!..walk between willis ave and cypress..go ahead..i dare you!..the average joe in that neighborhood cant produce half of the requirements!..and aint no white counterparts coming to live in no ghetto-still..matter of fact i'll take that back!..look at harlem-they still living amongst crime-drugs,and shootings!..I speak facts!..im not here pretending nothing!..and i dont mind being quoted!..no im not taking this so personal, its numerous more places just as brucknerbythebridge..proberly better..im in the runnings for laterrezza, the thing is I have a-car!..and i'll need parking,so i'll hold ma-breath. its another place, but they wanna stick me in a-studio,and i declined..need a 1-bedroom!..point blank !..let them tell the same people they declined later on..ohh are you still interested in renting a apartment here??..after they figure out-hey!..this place isnt gererating no money, because they being too-choosey!..they better wake-up!..

brucknerbythebridge.isnt all what it seems to be..its right between 3-projects..millbrook,mitchell,and paterson..not to mention cypress ave..its all drugs and gangs infested...plus you might get jumped, going to the grocery atm..even the nearest train station..the thing is..watch your back!..theres no really sense of security..to live there..so what?..you still in the hood,so the mentality is..they put up all these new buildings, right smack dead in the center of these jungles..and and want top-dollar,yet they're being funny in their processing techniques?..who else are they going to cater to?..like for example..them condos on longwood ave/prospect ave..they STILL-EMPTY!!..why?/..because theres nobody living or working in them neck of the woods..pulling 3-4 figure salerys..and got no $345,000.00 to live amongst drug dealers,junkies,prositutes,whinos,bloods-crips..homelessness..beggars..and taking a risk, being stuck-up...because the way they thinking..if you live there-you got money!..i know i been saying of all the possibles..and im not being that negetive,im just being real with my opinions.

Smh! Wow....
Safety was one of my main concerns, but just being me, I don't care where and who. I currently live in Parkchester, and have been here all my life. It's a decent neighborhood, but as all places, it has it's shortcomings. Nothing compared to that of Mill Brook or the Mitchell projects. I grew up there also, being close with my grandmother, who still resides in Mill Brook. I understand exactly where your coming from with that issue. But my thing is, as far as Bruckner By The Bridge is concerned, they want money. The funny thing is, I remember now on the application, one question was, do you feel safe in this neighborhood. I dunno, I just feel like you gotta make the best of wherever you go. And be smart with how you do what you do. Yes, the police station is a few blocks away, but that means nothing, when you cross that bruckner highway to get to the building. I wouldn't even know who to contact in regards to safety in that area for tenants.
