I never made an appointment as I was waiting for people to give me advice first. Haha. I just read somewhere never to go past Clinton because the projects start on Pitt. I don't mind having a vibrant neighborhood. I live in Chelsea. now.
I'm pretty sure the NYCHA buildings don't start until Avenue D. I think it's Baruch Houses? What's along Pitt street I thought were Mitchall Lama buildings, mixed income housing.

The buildings along Pitt south of Houston actually are NYCHA, I'm not sure if its mixed income, but I know for a fact its NYCHA.
58 street--between 6 and 7 ave.....north side of the block.
