I get a lot of negative laughs when I tell people I am from Ohio. It really makes me mad. I was recently in Florida at my friends house and some one came over to visit here is how it went:

Visitor: Where are you girls from
Friend: I'm from Australia, but my parents are from China.
Visitor: Wow Australia that's so cool, what about you
Me: I'm from Ohio
Visitor: Ohio, well that's not really as interesting as Australia

Really? What does it do for you to put down the state I'm from.
I think some people do that because they are so concerned with "precious time" and go on to make assumptions e.g. "Oh, he/she is from xyz state therefore he/she has no interesting stories to tell and/or he/she is of no use to me." (Yup, there are plenty of "users" out there. Old news but worth repeating) I guess it depends on how open-minded someone is, or if you catch them in a terse mood or a more receptive mood.

So I have begun to feel out apartments, just in case I have to make a break for it, and look what I found. This made my laugh on my bad day. I love a scammer. Especially when I know they are a scammer. It was advertised as at $1500 one bedroom with a W/D and because of the price I was assuming it was like a 7th floor walk up or a walled off part of the laundry room. Well "Jenna" really helped me out here.

Hi,

I am e-mailing in regard to the apartment at 23rd and 8th. I was wondering if these where pictures of the actual unit or just similar in the building. What's the catch? Is it a 6th floor walk up? Is it a true one bedroom? Please e-mail me back at this e-mail.

Thanks,

Ohio Girl 22

Hey OhioGirl22

Sorry for the delay, response has been crazy. From what I see it
looks like you'd really mesh with this place and I'd like to give it
to you. I'd like to set up a time for tomorrow, have a few things
ready to have in your hand for the appt. Copies of ID, paystub
and credit report, you can get it for free here: Think Credit Reports (http://tinyurl.com/4w7upbj - broken link) .
Please have all this ready and get back to me soon, I need that
new credit score before we go any further as other than my say that's
the only thing my boss looks at. Place is ready to go, just need
someone to fill it.

Jenna

Yup, we are given instincts for a reason. This could sound like an unnecessary satement but I think "Jenna" might be the type of person who wonders why her life ucks (Add an "s" in front of that)

Should I buy this? How would I use the mirror? I like that it's full-length, but wouldn't we need to "lean in" like the Leaning Tower of Pisa?? I mean, this looks cool but I don't want to buy something absurd. Contemporary Black Swivel Floor Mirror with Shelves - eBay (item 310288747063 end time Feb-15-11 17:31:57 PST)
