Hi! My name is Morgan. About a year ago I went on a school trip to NY and I loved it there! There is so much more energy there than where I am from. I really think I want to live there at some point of my life. I am currently just a freshman in college. My major is Industrial engineering and hopefully when I graduate I can get a nice paying job. So what do you think would be a good plan to moving to NY someday? Finish my undergrad and get my masters too, then look for a job in the New york area? I know I obviously have a while before I will ever be moving there but I thought I would ask some advice from the locals and/or engineers out there.

Since no one answered your post I thought I would. NYC is a very expensive city so essentially you just need to make sure you are making decent money. If you can do that with just your undergrad then go for it. Although it may be difficult to work full time in an expensive city such as this and also find the time and money to work on your Masters so just keep that in mind.

Thanks. Those are some good points. I'll just play it by ear for now and hopefully in a few years I'll be there!
