We're really not a major blizzard city. I'm sure they deal with blizzards much better in places like Buffalo. Or Minneapolis. Or Toronto.

Garbage is going to start being picked-up today where I am..and it is piled high. Recycling is still suspended though...so I have an equally large pile of recycling!

Hang in there guys, at least you weren't faced with a 2 month garbage strike in the middle of the boiling hot summer like we were. We had to use parking lots as temporary landfills.

IN Manhattan garbage is getting regular pick for the past few days but in the outer boroughs we are getting snubbed. All my life I never seen garbage piled so high like this.

The true culprit here is NORAD. They had the ability to track Jolly old Saint Nick & his eight tiny reindeer, the sleigh stuffed with excessive levels of packaging & knew or should have known the terrible implications of an approaching blizzard, yet failed to blast him out of the sky. NORAD willfully disobeyed their directive to stop incoming aeronautical threats. The direct effect of their failure to act has lead to this horrific goulash of garbage. I demand an independent investigation!
Take this seriously at your own risk,
A concerned citizen.

You mean Bloomberg is taking care of Manhattan first, I'm shocked
