Harlem Gangs Busted in Crackdown - DNAinfo.com
I wonder how long before some of them get back in the streets? This is a good thing, though temporary.

Wait a minute, you pride yourself on being realistic and relying on facts. Fact is a lot of times these guys arrested are back on the streets in a couple of days. I did say it's a good thing so let's not make it out that I was completely negative about it.

Yes realistic...but how about we enjoy it for a minute before the usual suspects start chiming in as "it's a waste of time" "it won't change anything" "they will be back out in the streets same day" "they have 100 people to replace everyone they catch" blah blah blah....

No surprise here...I am glad to see this is being exposed. Of course the whistleblowers will no doubt be penalized, their careers stunted, and ultimately shunned by cops as a "rat." Shame.

I'm absolutely positive you feel that way sobroguy that's why you mentioned the unnecessary info at the end...
Believe me this may sound like I'm picking on you or whatever but you along with hundreds of thousands of other people in this city seem to be upset that these bosses are getting exposed for this more and more, because what it means is that just like some have been saying on here for the past year or so, crime stats really cannot be relied upon...
There are so many people, mayor included, that have a vested interest and need for this city to continue being labeled as the number one major safest city in this country, that they will do whatever needs to be done, to make sure NYC appears safer than it is...
And especially by the 77th precint where once again those hipsters that came here during the 07-09 hipster invasion are beginning to realize how much they've actually been duped by real-estate agents into living in these high crime neighborhoods...

It was done on purpose and you were the only one to catch it...or at least comment on it. Overdose using his brain: +1
