Hahaha... and +1 for sobroguy for conveniently using overdose's response as a way to excuse himself and mask his true feelings...

+1 for overdose and myself for not buying into it...

My true feelings are unchanged anon..I am glad the stats scandal is uncovered and hopefully will stop. If we have stats that have no meaning, why have them. Not sure what I would be masking.

Forged numbers aside, crime has seemed to dip recently and the numbers however loosely trusted they may be, have tapered off a considerable amount...

After the snow storms stopped, it seems as if things have been much more quiet...

i usually wait till the end of the first quarter to see make a judgment if crime will increase or decrease. So ill start paying close attention when march ends.

as i recall last year at the beginning of the year 2010 was up 21 percent in crime as compared to 09 and in a few weeks it was only up by 5 percent. I think summer, the ending of spring, and beginning of fall are the hot spots for crime.

wow all it took was 1 week for nyc to now be down by only 3 murders, and to make it worse this week last year only had 1 murder.
