No, I mean your general knowledge of the Bronx. I kinda snooped in some old posts of yours related to the Bronx. And its awesome that you're willing to share it with ppl who want to know.
Your photos were pretty good too.

Hubby is scouting out Bronxdale as I type - he's sending me photos of the area and I will upload them when they are all in - So far hes noted it is very quiet, not a lot of street or foot traffic. That's a good sign.

Default I think we found a new neighborhood

Well as it turns out Bronxdale is awesome! The avenue has all the things we have here in Queens , only more of them and better! Also our Indian/Pakistani/halal food joints all closed up and no one ever took their place - there were a few Indian/Pakistani food stores and restaurants on the Avenues- along with Polish and Eastern Euro stores and diners - Indie pharmacies and of course regular cheap-o stores to buy household items. I was in heaven.

And to make the day even better we qualified for our mortgage! yea! We are contacting the RE today to make an appt to see the Brady Court coop in our price range - I am SO excited - and I want to thank Bluedog2 for all of his help -We would have NEVER considered the Bronx, let alone find a 'nabe and an awesome complex on our own.

Glad you like the neighborhood and the complex.Look at a few apartments in there though before deciding.Don't rush to buy the first place because it seems like the right price.

I think you will definitely like the Pelham Parkway area if you move here. It's a very vibrant and vital community without a lot of drama.

no we don't have all the $$ yet - but we are looking at every open unit to get a feel for sq ft and amenities -but I have to say Brady Court seems pretty nice.

I live along Adrian Ave., Bronx. I like my neighborhood 'coz it's walking distance to the 1 train, Target, Marshalls, Catholic Church, grocery stores, Rite Aid, post office, public library, dry cleaners, and many small restaurants.
I would say that it's quiet & safe here.
You can check it out

Hi Gemini - whats your nabe called? Bluedog2 hipped me to Bronxdale/Morris Park/Pelham parkway areas. I kinda like the Bronxdale area - Quiet, residential and "old in a good way" looking buildings.

I like small restaurants/library/PO - never took the 1 train before, lived in NYC my whole life - but not opposed to it. Any co-ops for sale in your area you know of?

The poster is talking about Marble Hill, which is geographically in the Bronx, but is politically and municipally part of the borough of Manhattan.
