I think some people ITT are trying to argue that Brooklyn has more enclaves despite Queens being more diverse, but I don't even agree with that. To me, Queens is clearly the most diverse and has the most enclaves.

Queens does take this one, but not by far. Queens is about 49% foreign-born and Brooklyn is 42% foreign-born. Outside of Brownstone BK Brooklyn is very similar to Queens in terms of diversity and ethnic neighborhoods.

By the foreign-born metric, but what about by number of different ethnicities/nationalities/religions?

Brooklyn's foreign-born population is not quite as diverse as Queens' but it's not far behind. Look at the (admittedly informal) list of neighborhoods I made, there's a lot of different populations in BK.

theres a significant black minority in south bushwick pushing towards broadway junction. esp when you pass gates ave and get down by weirfield, halsey Hancock, decatur, etc.

West Indians are all over bklyn. Granted, Flatbush, Crown Heights and Canarsie are the biggest strongholds for them but even traditional afro american areas (bed stuy brownsville bushwick East NY even Coney Island) @ least 25-30% of the blacks are west indian. 1/2 of kensington towards flatbush has a lot of WI too.

Jamaica queens still has lots of blacks, mainly jamaicans afro americans trinis....

The Bronx isnt diverse like queens but within the hispanic and black communities theres multiple nationalities.....

Hispanics:
Puerto Ricans
Dominicans
a growing number of mexicans

Blacks:
Afro-Americans (probably among the largest concentrations left in NY City)
West Indians (mainly Jamaicans)
Africans (esp those from Ghana, Ivory Coast, Mali, Nigeria, Senegal, Congo)

Most of the whites left are either Italians or albanians. It wouldnt surprise me if Albanians outnumber Italians now. Woodlawn is a somewhat hidden irish enclave and theres alot of Jews (and a few WASPS probably) in Riverdale

The asian community is small but i notice theres a small yet growing number of Bangladeshis and Guyanese Indians....

All true. As I said, I made that list very quickly and informally.

Yeah the Bronx is becoming increasingly diverse, and has some areas, like Pelham Parkway, Norwood and Morris Park, that are Queens-like in their diversity.

In addition to what you noted, there is also a significant Honduran, Ecuadorean, and Guatemalan population amongst the Hispanic population. The Bangladeshi/Pakistani population is growing tremendously and is very visible around Parkchester and Castle Hill. There's also a significant Punjabi population in Norwood. There's a small but noticeable Vietnamese population in Kingsbridge, a decent number of Filipinos scattered throughout the SE Bronx, lots of Guyanese, and a decent concentration of Yemenis in Tremont/Van Nest.

Bronx and Brooklyn will only win the award in terms of the diversity of the sex offenders who live there.

For Haitian im pretty sure you meant Cambria Heights and Queens village. St Albans is mostly Jamaican/African American with Haitians sprinkled in.
