Default nyc botanical gardens -photos

we went to the nyc botanical gardens yesterday. it was cold but even in the snow its interesting.

absolutely beautiful!
cant wait to live int he Bx so I can visit this awesome place!

does anyone know about a plant that grows, i know Im going to get this wrong - like 3 stories, and blooms evey 100 (?) years? they showcase it somewhere (hopefully the BG) i also think it emits a foul odor...anyone know what this thing is called? have pics?
