These areas are not exclusive mainly because you can see them in Google street view.

Check out Sea Gate, Brooklyn - they didn't even let the Google car in! That's as "hidden" and "exclusive" as it gets!

They're alot more..just got lazy There was this nice secluded area in Staten Island i was in last week. This one block was mansion after mansion after mansion on the whole block. It was beautiful

Even though a lot of New Yorkers probably aren't aware of the neighborhood, any list of exclusive areas that doesn't mention Todt Hill in Staten Island is definitely not complete!
