Hi, I have my interview for forest houses in the Bronx. I was told to bring my Social, Birth, ID, and W-2. What does this mean exactly? I know I was told the apartment was not available yet, but they have the apartment identified. I am nervous.

Maybe some renovations going on in the apt or a tenant that has received an eviction notification.

Dont be nervous a job interview is much, much worse IMO.

There is nothing to be nervous about. Good Luck. I'm waiting for my interview. How long ago did you put in an application?

Because I received zero priority, I got called for my initial interview about 2 months after. I did not get to choose a development, because NYCHA matches you with an apt when you have certain priorities. Then about 7 months later they should an apartment.
