I am a mom of a high school student and I wanted to share
what I found. Manhattan College, school of Science,
is opening a new, very, affordable after school program for high school
students. The application can be downloaded at :
http://onlinephys.com/MANHATTANCOLLE...courselist.pdf

Some classes are like pre college courses.

ANy other ideas ? I am looking for science courses but affordable
to muscle a resume and increase interest in sciences of my teenagers.

Do they have very high grades in science? They might want to get into the summer program at Cold Spring Harbor on Long Island or get a teacher to sponsor a project for the Intel competition. Also they should take AP science courses at school. What kind of science are they interested in? The American Museum of Natural History and the planetarium have some programs for high school students. So does the NY Hall of Science. Do they like wildlife? The Zoo and the aquarium also have programs for HS students and accept HS volunteers.

It was kind of you to post this link. It looks very interesting. The only suggestion I could make is the summer program offered at the Bronx Zoo. But I see someone has covered that.
My eldest will be completing seventh grade this year.I hope your children enjoy this program.
