The majority of the attackers were actually black and Dominican, thats what all the witnesses and news reports said. Unfortunately they seem to have got away.

When you act like this and than say you don't want to be touched, don't you think you think you're sending out mixed messages?

I have to agree with anon1 here, no matter how trashy or sluty
you think those women/girls acted, still doesn't give you the right
to put your hands on them. Stop blaming the women, it's the guys
who were acting like animals. If you were there, you wouldn't
attack those women right? Then why should those men be different?
Have a little self-control and non of these would've happen.

And there are way too many parades in NYC anyway, what's next?
Maybe we should have a City-data parade too?

Here are some helpful tips about rape:

Let me add one more:
• When woman is half-naked in public, acting like an idiot, and rubbing up against you and you get aroused, ask her if she'd like to have sex. If she says no, walk away and go have "gentleman's time" in the bathroom. Rape prevented!

I agree with what you're saying but the issue is that most of the girls were ok with the splashing and the attention until the numbers of men got too much.

I would think being okay with getting splashed with
water in a playful way is a little different than being
okay with getting fondle and sexually assaulted by
strangers.
