Manhattan Neighborhoods
What is your favorite Manhattan neighborhood:
to hang out?
to live in?
to visit?
to eat?
Here's a clear map of neighborhood boundaries:

I know this thread is pretty old, but I think it's interesting!
I think the best neighborhoods to live in Manhattan are the Upper West Side and Turtle Bay. I like the atmospheres and architecture in these neighborhoods.

Is Turtle Bay the neighborhood across the UN?
I've always wondered what the neighborhood's called. It's a very beautiful area with a lot of trees and townhomes everywhere.

I noticed the same thing. But you know how it is: if it's above 96 Street, it's all vague to most of the rest of the world!

Yes it is. I really like it too.
Since I only mentioned the places that I thought were the best to live in, let me finish the list...
Hang out/visit: up and down any of the major roads (5th, 6th, 7th, etc.)
Eat: Greenwich Village, LES, and Flatiron (only b/c of the Shake Shack. I love that place, )
