At the edge of Northeast Queens on the border of Little Neck and Great Neck LI there might be a mini Chinatown forming albeit the growth will be limited because the area is surrounded very expensive residential properties and well off. However I must say having eaten at most dim sum places in NYC the past few decades the new dim sum restaurant there is without a doubt the best traditional dim sum place in NYC period. Though the variety is somewhat limited compared to places in Flushing the quality is absolutely better. Outside of HK I've never had better chicken feet and rice rolls in the western hemisphere. The only downside is that the place can get pretty crowded and the price is on the higher range for a dim sum place which I guess is to cater to the more well off in the area. For a party of two expect to spend $40-$50 including tax and tip for dim sum.
