Tampa and Jacksonville down in Florida are extremely suburban and conservative but have had some of the highest crime rates in the country, way higher than NYC's or San Fran for that matter. Miami in the 80's was a Republican stronghold, it had illegals which the Republicans encouraged (wet-foot, dry-foot policy) and murder was rampant. And no, not all suburbs are a great place to raise kids.
Guiliani and Bloomberg are not conservative, in fact, Bloomberg is not even a Republican anymore. The NY City Council has has a Democrat majority for decades, and all boroughs, with the exception of Staten Island, has had Democrat Borough Presidents non-stop for decades.

Also Staten Island is the best looking, safest, and cleanest borough by far. Compare that to the most liberal borough, The Bronx.

There are plenty of things to do in OKC, especially these days.

Why dont you find Sarah Palin and try to clean up NYC hand in hand. Trying to say conservatives are clean people? As for Staten Island not being so dirty because its not as dense as the other four boroughs. It has less then half a million people plus staten Island is a huge borough. Staten Island character is very different then the other four, it is far less urban compared to the concrete jungles of BX, BK and Manhattan.

Conservatives don't go around preaching on the environment and coming up with whacko global warming conspiracies. Quit giving excuses for your liberal Democrat party.

By contrast, London is a beautiful city, with lovely architecture and clean streets all over. London also has a lot buildings that are much much older than buildings in NYC, and the buildings in London still look great vs. NYC.
Nothing to do with illegals at all. Nyc has always had rough looking parts. There are a lot of clean streets too though not everything looks dirty.

Are you trying to be politically correct? Stop this nonsense, everyone knows it has nothing to do with liberals/conservatives and everything with income level and race.

Parts where rich white liberals live are very clean. And Staten Island is basically suburbia, why would you want to go there at all?
