I haven't noticed them here, but maybe Washington Heights due to the large Latino population. I would look at the fruit vendors along 181st St and St. Nicholas. Although, that is a long trip from Queens. Good luck!

Fresh Direct (a local shop for food by internet company -you shop on line and they deliver) has a wide range of fruits as well as just about anything else for the home including paper goods and toiletries. I used to use 'em a lot more, but since a Fairway Supermarket opened up within driving distance I tend to shop in person now. That said, I can recommend them to you without reservation.
