I will be moving to Queens, New York in August to attend graduate school. I am a student and I do not have a job. My sister has agreed to be my cosigner when I lease an apartment. She has excellent credit and a stable high paying job. When I fill out an application for an apartment, what information of hers do I need to present to the landlord? Pay-stubs, credit history, driver's license, mailing address, or anything else? Does she need to be present in person when I fill out an application and when I sign the lease?
