NYC is going insane. It's as hot as Rio de Janeiro, but you just have to hold it steady untill September...

I don't like anywhere in NYC in general during the summer heat wave! I rather be in the Greenland or Yukon territories fishing or something!

Heat and humidity is a killer mix. But it's the angry ppl around me that I'm really afraid of.

I totally agree. And, yet, what I like about NY in the high summer (ie, mid August) is that when it's, say, a quiet Sunday afternoon, and you walk down Park Avenue or Madison Avenue, it makes me remember that scene in Breakfast at Tiffany's, where Holly and Fred stroll and Holly says that she'll miss NY and when she's a fat Brazilian matron, she'll come back and visit. If I remember correctly, they filmed that scene very early in the morning, which accounts for the deserted appearance of the streets.

I sweat profusely, I think I have Hyperhidrosis. I can't walk around the city longer than 5 minutes without sweating buckets if it's over 85. The worst is waiting on subway platforms where it's basically like standing in an oven, with hundreds of people, then getting onto a crowded train sweating like I'm under a hot lamp at the precinct while I'm packed in like a sardine.

It's the heat, humidity, hot concrete, car exhaust, tourist season, exposed sweaty skin in crowded places, increased B.O., crazy summer attitudes, crowded avenue street fairs etc that makes me want to puke. Summer in Manhattan to me is just walking around in a sweaty daze like I have a fever with tons of stinky sweaty people all around me. Worst.

Why ONLY Manhattan? The whole NYC is being effected as well you know?

Anyway, I don't love it but in some ways I don't mind it. It gives me an excuse to wear less clothing and try to impress some ladies. Hehe.
