when I lived in NYC I left every summer for Europe did that for 38 yrs. Now I live in Tahoe....... dry, cool perfect summers.

What parts of the city are the coolest/nicest during the summertime? Sorry if I sound ignorant, but for example, is Queens or Brooklyn cooler during summer? Are there certain areas of those boroughs that are the nicest? Etc?

It gets hot and humid in all the boroughs in the summer.

The bronx is supposedly a few degrees cooler on average. Not anything major. But manhattan does feel hotter to me. Probably due to its denseness...
