You trolls are adorable.

I'm thinking about joining some forums of things I want to believe I hate so I can tell other people how much happier I think I wish I was than them.

Wow, that's a nice positive response. Some of the most wickedly intelligent, highly successful people I know came from little towns in the middle of nowhere. I love people who don't understand rural America, they are so precious.

Some of the most annoying trash I've ever met came from little towns in the middle of nowhere. That's good enough for me to swear off small towns forever.

To quote the great Frank Sinatra, "If I can make it there, I can make it ANYWHERE".

And you TC, just can't cut it here... So just stay in the bush leagues where you belong and let us big boys and girls play in this big, bad, city of ours

It's not for everyone. Good choice for you to stay away. I loved it there. I loved the fast paced life, the nightlife, the neighborhoods. I lived there in my early twenties.

Not every small town is filled with pot-bellied slobs who vote red and marry their cousins.

lol

That's highly misleading.
I would love to move to Tokyo, Monaco, London, Rio, Buenos Aries, etc.
Young people always have grand ambitions.
The truth is, it won;t work out for most and for a sizable portion of these folks, moving to NY was a poor choice in the first place.
A lot of people come here because of what they think NYC is like. After 6 mos., those that don't have a solid, well paying job, begin to realize what it is like.

ya cause NO one is provincial in cities, like some people in NYC dont even know that Delaware exists, they dont care either, not saying a sizable minority belives this example but specificly transplants to Manhatten think anyone not in Manhatten are losers, like many people look at me all scared when i say im from Brooklyn, cause they are 2 miles away and dont know the Niegborhood.
