The Van Nest area is quiet. However, there are not alot of amenities. But one is near the subway, and there are a few bus routes that can take you places.
I beleive it is Pelham Parkway & thats where I am headed - ask BlueDog2 hes the one who hipped me to it. We haven't moved yet, but a few trips to the neighborhood, looking up police reports & school info - I made my choice.
